    Moodle forum moderation questions

    Firstly hello all!

Im pretty sure ive searched quite well for this, on here and moodle, but sometimes you do miss the odd thing.

I quite like the fact that moodle has discussion forums built in, but at my school they are very into their anti ebullying policy, so we need some more restrictions.

What i was wondering is that is there a way to have posted items set to an unapproved mode initially untill approved by a moderator (teacher) before being visible to the whole class?

Ive been looking for a mod, but perhaps im searching for the wrong thing.

Any help/advice would be appreciated! Ta!

From what I can see it's not possible to do this although it's a requested feature.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I suppose i will have to wait or possibly add a separate forum to allow discussions?

Perhaps you could hack the glossary module, i know that allows additions to be aproved before they are submited (I think).

That was mentioned in a post I read on the Moodle site.
