    not only but also..

Using Moodle 2nd ed deals with 1.8 which is ok for most things. There's a book published in Sept for Moodle admins here which deals with 1.9 Moodle Administration

Has anyone seen the Moodle Admin book? Is it any good? I'm just getting a bit consious that we are looking at starting the Moodle trial in Sept apart from setting Moodle up and bits & pieces I have fiddled with I am not too proficeint with it. Worried about people coming to me and asking "Is this possible" or "How do I do ...." & me just looking blank and having to wander off to find out. Would hate it to fail and become disused becauased staff got the feeling it wasn't being supported by us!

Yes I have bought the Moodle Admin book and would recommend it-it is a clear way of explaining how to set up Moodle. (Incidentally, once you have, you then need to buy the extremely excellent Moodle for Teaching 7-14 Year Olds for your teachers!
