Sharepoint colour calendar

I have implemented the excellent colour calendar from Planet wilson
Has any one had request for a colour key on the page. Lots of teachers would like the key showing red= Important , Blue Visit ............ you get the idea. I cant for thew life of me think of a way to do this. So if anyone has a good idea can we hear it now please.

Create what they want in html and then add it to a content editor web part
