Lightbulb OSS eLearning software in development

Hi all,

Not sure where to put this, but I've been writing a (for now) simple OSS eLearning creation tool. :-)

It's at it's 3rd Alpha release (4th probably next weekend), and lets you create visual guides for things, similar to the old RoboDemo (now Captivate).

It's *nix only for the moment, but will have Win32 releases again in a bit.

Salasaga - Introduction

Example output here (created with itself):

Installing Salasaga on Ubuntu 8.04
(It's a visual guide showing how to install it on Ubuntu 7.04)

Anyway, hope this is useful, and not considered spam.

Looks useful from the demo, I'm pretty sure it won't be classed as spam because it costs nothing and you have clearly stated your relationship to the project.

I look forward to the Win32 version as most of our stuff for the time being is still chained to windows unfortunately.

Heh, yep. It shouldn't be too difficult, as I've already had it working on Win32 at times.

It's just that a bunch of code has been written since the last time it was compiled on Win32, and I know for sure some of the stuff added was *nix only.

Maybe 2-3 months away for Win32 version though...
