Hello all,
I found this Word template for easy offline creation of Moodle compatable XML Quizzes.
From the site:
MS Word template for making Moodle questionnaires in XML formatThis template is intended for quiz creators like me who do not like awkward Moodle mechanism for quiz authoring and prefer familiar word processor environment. Besides, the latter way of quiz creation is an offline activity and solves the problem of demanding continuous access to a Moodle server.
Hope this helps someone.

I think this is a real life line for any teacher looking to use the quiz function in Moodle. Currently the process of creating questions or quizzes in Moodle is not particularly user friendly but the link mentioned above really is a god send.
Simply create user questions in word (Macros must be turned on) and off you go using a toolbar inside the word document. Export your questions and then import them into your question bank. The other bonus is that its in Word which all staff should be fairly confident using, also its an offline tool!
nice find
Hey,
we have been using hot potatoes which works very well
and pupils have not found anywayto sneakpeak at the answers.

Great way to write a quiz, right in the word processor.
But I had difficulty importing the answers to the questions into moodle, only the questions headings are imported, but the options are not.
When i open the .xml I can see everything in there. Is there a workaround to this?
