    Copyright & VLEs

I was hoping someone could help or advise me.

I know about copyright and tv or video on websites but what about if I copy a couple of pages from a book and post them on my school VLE. I ask this question because I know that you are legally allowed to copy a selection of pages from a book for personal study.
