Some of our staff want to upload .notepad files from their Smartboard Lessons. I think this is a great idea, but obviously unless the user has a viewer installed all they are going to get is the file.
Now I know that I can use http://express.smarttech.com which is a web based viewer, I also know that if I prefix links with http://express.smarttech.com/?url=ht...kfile.notebook then it will open that file in the web based viewer. The problem is it does not work for files based in a Moodle course, mainly because of the way file.php serves the file and checks for permissions.
Has anybody any idea how I can get this to work without doing to much to the code? we are CURRENTLY using Moodle 1.9, but will be moving on to Moodle 2 later this year (Summer job for me!!)
