    Moodle customize category page

    i am looking to customize the category pages

    what built in options do i have before i start hacking <?php

    can you add html there through "turn editing on" or something similar?

    Depends on exactly what you mean by customising When turning the editing on you can add text, images, extra links etc and side blocks. You can have separate themes for categories if you enable that- what customisation did you have in mind?

    turning editing on doesn't seem to let me add text or images?

    all i really want to do is html above the course, like a blurb on the faculity

    "edit this category"

    With the editing turned on you should have an "edit this category" button which will take you to the text editor to add text/images etc.

    i have seen that but what i added seems to have appeared now, i think probably the problem was i needed to press ctrl+f5 !¬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
