Spotify cannot be legally installed in schools. (Source)

Can I use Spotify to play music in my bar, restaurant, store, school etc?

No, the Terms & Conditions that you agree to when registering for Spotify states that Spotify is for personal, non-commercial use.

Very good point, schools shouldn't be using this in the first place. I mentioned scanning labs though as some schools are still letting it through without knowing they shouldn't be using it (or even forced to by management). And it's a heads up for the site's users if they use it at home.

For general use in classrooms, yes. I assert that it is permissible for bored technicians' personal pleasure, provided nobody else can hear it (e.g. with headphones).
