Very interesting info![]()
I would love to come and present at an event over on the other side of the world. Let me know and I'm happy to come and speak about SharePoint in Education, SharePoint 2010 or Learning Gateways/Learning Platforms.
Alex

LOL +1 for me going to talk about anything as long as its a nice trip away![]()
very good Jeff I'm back in Christchurch next week![]()

SYNACK (24th April 2010)

Firstly welcome to Edugeek, I hope that you find it useful, interesting and are able to participate often
Thanks for presenting, yours was very informative and I enjoyed getting to try the MS Arc mouse in the multipoint mouse demoThe chat afterwards was also very informative and I look forward to finding out more about the Forfront TMG filtering and Multipoint Server when you get a chance.
For clarity apearce above was an MVP for Sharepoint and does lots of demos and talks in the UK about its use and managment in Schools there.
@markcuk - Good to hear that, hope that your flight is not to delayed by that oversized smokebomb to the north of you
@apearce - It would be great having you talk about the usage of sharepoint in schools, the only events that I can think of at the moment that would be big enough to bring a speaker over from the UK would probably be the ulearn conferences Welcome to ULearn 2010 | Core Education which are more teacher focused for the moment but hopefully in the future there will be more suitable events here.
Glad you enjoyed it so much. We have 6 more events coming up if anybody missed it in Auckland - Tauranga, Wellington, Napier, Nelson, Dunedin and ending in Christchurch. And yes - hopefully it will become an annual event!

@Mildie - Thanks for joining up and welcome to EduGeek. It is great that the event is being run all across the country so that everyone can benefit and it is good to hear that it is likely to become annual.
