You might be best off going to a site that specialises in Visa's. If your British the website British Expats is good.

If your cousin lives in Georgia, could you ask him/her?

Personally I'd avoid it right now. They have a huge immigration problem and are denying visas all over the place. My father in laws greencard expires in 3 years and he has been told unless he applies for citizenship it will not be renewed (despite paying taxes, having a drivers licence, full health insurance blah blah blah). They have targets to cut immigration massively as they're at around 317m population, and not looking to have it hit 325m before 2020. As a result, they are cutting immigration numbers massively.

    Good luck either way

@hiren43, from the threads you have started, I really feel that you misunderstand what the edugeek forum is about.

We are a technical computing forum. We are not here to answer questions on immigration, "how the internet works" or other generalities that are best addressed by other parts of the internet.

US immigration is a total minefield and you are far better off searching the internet for expertise on that than asking people whose role in life is to support computer networks in business.

Whatever you do, I wish you luck, but please be aware that this forum has its limitations.
