All they had to do was come up with a list of legendary British TV shows to choose from... so who the hell picked The Only Way Is Essex and not Only Fools and Horses?!

    One job...

Father Ted! Doctor Who is too popular and Sherlock is also well known!

I assume this is only for the UK release.

Also, why on Earth would Captain America's diary feature details of a British TV Show?

Should be Dr Who winning though really, it's been around what, 55ish years longer than Sherlock? It's had longer to become an influence on society
Plus, everyone's seen an episode or two of Doctor Who, I didn't even know Sherlock existed til last year :P

Though the line "TOWIE..wtf?" would be rather amusing to see...

I thought the obvious choice was either The Great British Bake Off or The Great British Sewing Bee.

If I was the script writer, it would be Father Ted.

Sherlock Is not a classic. I couldn't get into it. Lets get Father Ted up there!
