We use McAfee on our clients but does cause us some problems to say the least, as long as it's kept patched we don't have too many problems.
You don't state weather this is for the server or clients?
Hi there,
it's for both really.
Thanks
We have etrust on our terminal server boxes. Not had any issues as yet. The clients are thinstation or debian based, so don't need an AV, and if you're using XenApp as a full remote desktop solution (ie. Publishing the desktop and not the application) and have thin clients, I don't see a need for AV on the client end?
Our clients are either Linux (Debian) or WinCE5 but as we lock them down they can't access the internet independantly all traffic is via a Cirix session, so as stated above I see no need for AV on them (they also take minutes to image if there is an issue).
On the server we currently use NOD32 3.0.657 which seems pretty stable but I wouldn't recommend using a newer version at the moment they seem to be having issues with later V3 and V4 versions.
