(Not upgraded but) we have gone with System Centre Virtual Machine Manager 2012 & System Centre Data Protection Manager 2012 for our new brand new Hyper-V/Server setup. installed during the past couple of weeks.

First time we have virtualized so we don't know any different

I have upgrade from 2007 to 2012 and setup a new SCVMM 2012 aswell. Seems to be running really well They have ironed out a lot of the issues I was having with PXE.

SCCM 2012 here for a summer rollout. Going very well, certainly better to use than 2007 was and any issues are very minor. A hell of a lot more powerful, in fact the most difficult thing is ironing out things we don't need as it's far too powerful for what's required of it.

Ross2k5: how do you effect an upgrade for Hyper-V and DPM? We're currently running the previous version.

Trying to decide whether it's something we can do, or something we'll need consultancy support with.
