Windows 2008 R2 and Wyse TC issue

hey ppl, just setup a new windows 2008 Remote Desktop Services to replace our old/outdated Windows 2003 Terminal Server. We have older and newer Wyse thin clients throughout the district. I haven't tried the new Wyse yet but the older ones do not connect. It just flashes with an error "cannot connect client" or something like that. Would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Is there a setting on the server side? FW update on the client? any help is appreciated.

Are the clients pointing to the correct server?

Have you issued an update of the firmware to the clients. This maybe required.

Could be the clients aren't compatible with RDP 6.0/6.1//7.0 - I have some old Wyse 3360SE that needed the server switched to an earlier version.
