ESXi 5 License Type, Evaluation?
I've downloaded ESXi 5 and have been given a serial number on the VMWare website presumably for the free version. Whenever I launch the vSphere Client it tells me that it's an evaluation version and will expire in 60 days, is there any way for me to put the product key I've been given in permanently so I can just get on with the free version, I'm not interested in what the trial offers and I would like to just get started with the basics.
From what I've read online you should be able to put the product key in by going to licenses on the home screen of the vSphere client but the only options I have available are Inventory, Roles & System logs.
