AXEL 3000 ( Platine Terminal 75 )+ Monarch 9825 Printer + Windows Server 2008 R2
Greetings,
I finished set up a Axel3000 75, connected to the printer and to Windows Server 2008 R2.
Everything is working fine and the printer can print. The problem is, I can't set the printer to be the default one for a particular user.
Any hint?
Cheers

8th November 2011, 08:48 AM #2 There is a tick box to set the printer as default printer for the terminal.
To set the printer as default printer for a specific user you will need to set the printer as default in the user's profile on the server.
As presumably you want the user to have his same default printer regardless of where/what he logs in by - this has to be a central server function associated to his login account - not the device...
Maybe someone who is more proficient at Windows administration/policies can pick this thread up....

Thank you very much for your reply. It will look into the user policies and report if it was solved.
