Just playing with ESXI server 5.0 and I notice that Mac's are listed on the list of guest OS's.
If I get a copy of Snow Leopard is that going to let me install a MAC to play with on my PC based host or do I need to be running ESXi on apple branded hardware in the first place for it to work?

10th October 2011, 03:57 PM #2 I read somewhere on EG earlier that even though it can be done, the hardware used in virtualzation should be Apple hardware in order to comply with the EULA from Apple.

10th October 2011, 04:13 PM #3 Just found somethign like that on here and a couple fo threads on other sites basically saying you need to do some stuff that I expect also violates the ELUA. Not particulalry friendly...
Still was worth a loooking at, even if I can't do it. Back to real work then.
