Has anyone seen a chart that compares vSphere 4 versions to vSphere 5 versions (feature-wise)? From what I can see they're dropping vSphere Advanced which is what I run so I need to know what my upgrade path is...

As long as you have current support, if you don't buy it now and get the upgrade at very low cost

This PDF has all the details you would want - http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/vsphere_pricing.pdf

DRS and Storage vMotion, which is kinda awesome.

All under support and I'll keep that support up for as long as we stick with VMware I reckon.

Which should be a while then - although having said that I've just been looking at Replication in Hyper-V on Windows Server "8" and it's pretty awesome - OK you can do the same with Quest vReplicator which is now part of vRanger - but a great free feature - they are coming on...

Hehe, only just had ours put in on 4.1 so will sit and watch the early adopters iron out any issues before we move I think... might have to dig out a spare PC to try it out on as well...

What about your backup solution? Veeam is still testing against 5.0 so officially not supported at the moment...
