    Universal HP Driver?

We are looking to move our TS from 2003 to 2008, but one thing is holding us back. A universal driver for HP printers that will run under 2008.

HP apparently don't support such, so I'm told. Unless someone out there knows different?

I've found out a bit more info - the reason thus far that we have been unable to use it, is because the 64bit version doesn't support some of our older printers, i.e. Laserjet 4 Plus (yes, I know...)

So we need a driver that runs under a modern 64bit OS that supports somewhat older printers....

As to one that works with dino printers try clicking the add printer button then when you get to choose the driver click the "Windows Update" button which will take time but should download a bunch of additional drivers from the update cag. They may well be in there, looking at the cag Microsoft Update Catalog it looks like they do exist for that printer and the above way is the easiest to grab the x64 ones.

Some printers are a massive issue though which is why we binned some printers that were old enough to learn to drive when we upgraded.
