VMWare View over the internet = Black Screen
I am in the process of building our final version of our VMWare vSphere environment for rollout over the Christmas Break. All was going well until I tried connecting remotely.
Internally the connection works fine. To connect externally I have configured a View Security Server which seems to pass the requests to the View Connection Server ok.
We I try a remote connection I get to login and select the required desktop. Then the View Client starts up & I get a black screen. After about 1 minute the screen goes and there is a message stating that the server has disconnected me. I am getting this with both WIndows XP 32 bit & WIndows 7 64 Bit vms.
I have checked all of the Remote Users settings & can connect to the desktop using RDP so I know that the RDP service is working.
Does anyone have any idea where I should be looking?
Thanks
Mike

After a long call to VMWare Tech (2 1/2 hrs) & them remoting in the fault was traced to a fault in the locked.properties file. Recreated the file & all is working fine now.

I am having a similar issue. Do you know where/what this file is? Has the problem arisen again since you fixed it, like if I create a new vm will I have to recreate this file everytime?
Thanks in advance

locked.properties
The link is here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/mic...rnalId=1007147
I only needed to carry this out once. All is still working fine.
