ubuntu on hyper v (2008 server)
Im trying to get ubuntu 10.10 installed on hyper v so i can install Nagios Network monitoring and have a play with it. Does anyone know how to get the networking working. Ive seen a few guides that tell me to add hv_tools and others to a conf file but i just cant get it to network any ideas or preferably anyone got a step by step guide.

Not sure if this is going to be related to your problem or not, but MS have very limited Linux guest support under Hyper-V:
Windows Server 2008 R2: Virtualization with Hyper-V: Supported Guest OS
As they support Red Hat, you might be better off using Centos?
Just a thought!
