vSphere and ESXi
I have created a ESXi 4.0 host with a static address thats been assigned to us from comcast.
I have setup the primary DNS, Secondary DNS and the default gateway.
Once save this configuration, somehow I loose the default gateway address.
So I am not able to access this ESXi host from my vsphere client on the laptop.
One clue: If I leave it to dynamic address, it gets a 10.x.x.10 ip, and the server retains the default gateway fine. And I can also access it from vSphere. Of course, this happens only within my home network.
