help making a user logon gui for sunray 2

    Hi guys

I have 12 sunray 2 clients. I have seen a school that has a customized login box infront of the windows one.

I have the generic x kiosk component installed and have been playing with some scripts. I have made a button which, when pressed, presents the TS 2k3 login box.

Can anyone help with making a username box which will pass the inputed text to the username field on the windows box when the login button is pressed.

    Thanks

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

Which language are you using to generate the login box?

You can pass the value from a text box (as a variable) to uttsc with the -u argument to pass it through to the windows box.

i have only got as far as the log in button in tcl which calls a sh script with the ts details init.

Do you have a sample script i could have a look at, as there is hardly any documentation on tcl out there.

Or maybe you know of a graphical program so i can design it and it will do the code for me. Abit like dreamweaver does with html?
