Looks very nice (I'm assuming that isn't an April Fools Photoshop job!)...

But, at 310, that's the price of a half-decent fat-client. Okay, there are lots more benefits to a thin client than just the initial cost savings, but when you tell people it can't handle video, high-end multimedia or CPU-intensive applications very well it becomes much harder to sell the idea to management when they could be buying a PC that'll do all that.

We have some Sun Ray 2's and they handle Video Fine and work very well with the Adobe Web Collection

Cool, cheers for that. Andy keeps telling me I need to talk to you about your install. We've considered Sun Rays in the past and had a demo in from Cutter, but the time hasn't been right for us to invest yet. Hopefully one day...

Chaps, this is the replacement for the 2FS not the 2. This is why it is expensive compared to the current list price of the Sun Ray 2.

The Sun Ray 3 has not been released. It is expected that the price of the 3 will be similar to the cost of a 2.

The 3 plus has dual screen and fibre etc.

This list price of the old 2FS was 380 so it is cheaper.

The 2FS has a Fibre Port (100Base-FX fiber optic port) and 2 DVI Ports, where as the 2 dosn't have that

(think there is something else but can't remember now)
