    how do you give more space to 2003 server c Drive

    Hi

    i have a 2003 virtual server running on my esx system. It needs more disk space on the C drive. Whats the best way of giving more space on the C drive?

    I found this posting and your follow up on what you found of great interest. Is this a tool just for Virtual disks - I ask as I have a Dell 2003 Server DC set up by Dell in 2008 that has a 12GB C: drive!

    I think it will be fine but make sure you backup first. Do you have spare space on the same disk as c? I think it might work for basic disks only.

    I think if you boot into ubuntu or have a second OS that can access the dynamic disks can change the partition size. I've done it before, but don't remember exactly how.
