Well it came on monday. Today i just finished all the servers Migrated our email, webserver, print server, a backup DC and a linux box. All working great. Everyone really should look at virtualizing options as its so easy to set up and get working.

if you get the chance do what sjl has said, move the vms to a san/iscsi nas box then get another server put esxi on it then if one box dies you can just start the vm's on the other server aslong as it can see the luns of the san/nas box it is really good and aslong as you can afford the time to notice the server has gone and start them up on the other one you don't need to buy vmotion or other high availablitly stuff.

thats how i had it at my last place, here we have the same but under ubuntu and KVM
