Does anybody have experience of setting up VLANs on Dell power connect 5224 switchers which are used for directing network traffic for the virtual servers, its a long story but we are getting lots of issues with VLANs not being set up and me and my colleague don’t have both the experience and confidence to start playing and setting up the VLANs.
Any help on this matter would be great.
Show us your config and what exactly you are trying to do. A little diagram would be nice.
My experiance of Dell switches has been, well, interesting. I certainly wont be buying one again, and we are hoping to replace one of them soon. Reallly poor interface and doesnt comply to standards. If its an edge switch them fair enough, but if its core id seriously consider swapping for a proper make now.
