    Default Ericom Error

I've just installed the ericom demo onto a new install of Windows 2003 R2 this also is the TS licensing server and a ts server in it's own right. I've just installed it as stock however when I go to the Ericom webconnect 5.6 Administration Tool and try and login i get the following attached error messages.

If I put in the username and domain (i.e. administrator@domain.internal) I get the first error if I don't I get the second.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi there,
I know that this is a slightly old thread, so you have probably solved the issue or have given up, but it looks like you may have been trying to logon on to the PowerTerm WebConnect console using your domain credentials?

If so, that is where your problem is, you need to log on using the admin account mentioned in the guide that you hopefully got with your demo.

It's a good product, let me know if you have any questions about it as we are sucessfully using it in a few schools at the moment.

Yeah sadly figured this out, trying not to grin sheepishly about the whole thing .

    Thanks!

No, nothing to feel sheepish about at all - made the exact same error myself when I installed it. Hence my ability to troubleshoot yours
