USB Redirection Sun Ray 2
Probably a simple question but I know very little about all this thin client business so far!
Our support company did a Sun Ray 2 install for us (Think it is a Solaris based Sun Ray server then a Windows Terminal Server for the actual desktop the users see), but didn't seem to setup the system so when USB pens etc are plugged in they get picked up by the terminal sessions.
Is there a easy way to enable this or will we have to get them out again?

(In short though, it's not difficult to implement from the Solaris end)

USB redirection for Thin Clients (accessing local USB devices form remote session) was a big problem for us with HP thin client. We deployed USB over IP SW solution from Eltima eltima.com/products/usb-over-ethernet/ everything works fine now with HP.
But I've recently found that Oracle have added remote USB access support and here is the instruction:
wikis.sun.com/display/SRWC2dot2/Managing+USB+Device+Redirection+%28All+Topics%29
Hope this helps
