Default Axel USB sound

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone's used a USB audio adapter with the M80F. I'm looking at getting a few (M80Fs and audio adapters) so if anyone knows of one that works, it'll save me either trying a few or waiting for Axel to test them, I know they're doing this soon, but if I can order everything at the same time, it'd be wonderful!

Cheers

Will

Does the M80 now support USB audio? The last time I spoke to Matthew it was in development? Has a new firmware version that enables this been released?

According to Matthew (who has been very very helpful so far), they are hoping to release the firmware in the next week or so. They will also be testing a number of USB audio interfaces, and have a generic driver in built, so any usb audio devices that comply with standards should work (there is a USB audio standard). I'll let Matthew clarify or correct any of that

Cheers

We have completed the development of USB sound drivers for the M80f, for RDP and ICA.

The firmware is currently 'Beta' but we can make it available to anyone who wishes to test it/see it in action.

There is a single setting in the configuration where this function can be toggled on or off.
No device drivers are necessary.

This new f/w can be flashed into existing M80f's in a matter of seconds, and the existing
settings will be preserved

Please send me an email if you would like to receive a copy of this f/w.

Regards
