    Medical Grade Thin Client

Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me about a new medical grade (for patient proximity) thin client that's supposedly on the market? It's apparently 22inch integrated high res. with touch. But I can't find the company that sells it. Does anyone know?

The Axel M80w operates at true colour at 1920x1200, its not intergrated but is the size of a cigarette packet and come with a bracket to attach to rear of monitor. It supports touch screen monitors, and smart card authentication (which many UK Health Trusts use for authentication).

I've had a scout at work but found nothing. That looks quite interesting you have posted Axel, will forward to out bosses at work, could be very useful.

All UK trusts should be using smart cards for one thing or another now.

General Dynamics make a smaller one (for use as a Sun Ray). It's not 22" and it was expensive.

I had a look at it on the European Electronique stand at BETT... 'twas indeed cool!
