A long while ago we played with a bit of software (I do not remember the name) that allowed a teacher to display their screen on the screen of all the students logged on around the room. You could do a lot of other things with it like launch a particular app, freeze the screen / keyboard / mouse, open the cd tray etc etc.

I'm now looking for something similar, in particular the "showing the class the teachers screen" feature. The difference now is that we are using a purely thinclient network running on citrix ICA.

Does anybody have any ideas on software that may be sutible? I guess it needs to work with Terminal Services.

AB Tutor works well. We have it running in a couple of thin client schools.

I think that Citrix can probably do this without any 3rd party app.
I wouldn't mind betting you could configure the interface in such a way that students had permissions to shadow a particular user. Give the teacher that user account and the students the link and voila.
Take a look through the shadow policies in the console

disclaimer: I've not actually tried this, but Citrix has all the components so....

You could do most of the functions for free using simple VNC, running the server on teachers PC, and VNC client on all the pupils, all pointing to the teachers PC/port....
