Firstly how do you check which version you are on? Secondly I thought I had installed them via the VMware Console? I'll attached a screen shot ASAP.

Click on the VM and on the right hand side it says hardware version.

and if you have used vmware converter then it is normally an option to be installed when you convert it.

    Screenie would be nice.

    James.

EDIT: Also on the right hand side, above hardware version it also tells you if vmware tools is running.

Okay so yes it's Version 7 and the tools hadn't installed first time round. Fine now except for the following.

Yeah sadly more than once. It's not affecting anything else and Citrix is running fine so thats proof of concept right there. Now to look at bringing down the original and using that as well.

Well i know that if its an IBM, you'll be looking for this

    OSA IPMI driver

The OSA IPMI device driver is used to communicate with the IPMI baseboard management controller. Download this driver from the IBM® Support Web Site at IBM Support & downloads - United States.
