    Citrix 'Disconnected' users

When our users have disconnected from the client machine in the Management Console they are shown as 'Disconnected' and the process they were running as part of their session are still present.

How can i ensure that once they've logged off/closed the ICA session everything to do with them is terminated?

    MetaFrame XP by the way

    Re: Citrix 'Disconnected' users

I think this is a "feature" to keep them logged on for ages after disconnecting (cable pulled out, machine switched off, crash, etc), to allow you to recover their work. Dont know if there is a way to turn this off, it gets on my nerves all the time with the servers refusing to log me in because my dead sessions are still logged in (or I left a load of other machines logged in ).

yes it is afeature to allow session restoration.
you need to either train users to log off cleanly or set the disconnect timeout on the server
    (in ICA-TCP connector / Advanced)

in the connection configuration - picture of a hammer.
edit the ica-tcp connector and the settings are in advanced.
I don't remember if this is a per server or per farm setting but it will override the client config
