Automatically Power On VMs - VMware Workstation

I know it is possible to automatically power on VMs when you boot up the host system in VMware Server 2.0. However, is this possible in VMware Workstation? I have 2 VMs running, but they do not power on automatically when I boot the host PC up.

Can someone tell me if this possible using VMware Workstation 6.5?

On your main VMware server page, click on the host server on the left pane, then on the right, you should see "Edit Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown settings", that should be what you're looking for to start. More details at Configuring VMware Server 2.0 Host-Wide Settings - Virtuatopia

Hope that helps (I knew you used to be able to, so it had to be somewhere!)

    Cheers

I don't think it has it, you would need server for that. You may be able to start it from command line but I've not looked to see what commands workstation can use.

Thanks, but I already knew that! I wanted to know if it was possible on VMware Workstation.
