No one use Thinstation for as/400 connection ?

21st November 2008, 09:57 AM #3 AS/400 is not really within the financial reach of many schools. Add in the fact that it also only runs OS/400, AIX or Linux, and the fact that schools run mostly Windows, the likelihood of someone being able to answer is quite quite low I'm afraid.
Last I checked, if you are actually using an AS/400, and not an IBM Series i, this means you are using OS/400 - which is definitely not suitable for a school.

You're not the only one that has this issue. Its broken in the main distro. It's actually a very simple fix, but VERY frustrating. It's a broken symlink. I'm not the most Linux savvy person and had to ask for help from my BSD buddy. He found the problem. This means you can't use the TS-O-matic and have to build your own on your linux box, but that part's not difficult at all. I'll see if I can get more specifics on what link it is.
If memory serves it was the one pointing to the config file from the the temporary location.
