    VMWare Server 2 Certificate Error

I've just installed VMWare Server 2 on a test machine at work running Windows Server 2008. It is stand alone workstation and not connected to any domain. When I try to access the VMWare Web Console, I get a certificate error. Is there anyway that I can fix this issue? Does it cost money to get an SSL certificate? The reason I ask is because I'd like to use VMWare at home eventually and ideally I wouldn't like to pay for a certificate for home use.

Make the publisher a trusted publisher in the browser security settings or where ever it's set.

How can I do this in IE7? I've tried addding it to the Trusted Sites and I get the following message:
    Code:
    Identification
The website you want to view requests identification.
    Please choose a certificate.
And I don't get any options to choose one. I haven't got Firefox installed on that particular machine and would like to try getting it working in IE before trying with Firefox.
