Possibly not i'm going to re read the manual when i get chance. I've now added the FREEDOS bootloader but that's as far as i've got at the moment.

Hi, We had 20 t5735 terminals and a win 2008 TS server delivered today, the terminals are Linux version- when we tried to connect to win 2003 server terminal services they worked fine but they don't seem to connect to the 2008 server, the engineer has disabled all the firewall and the optional security features but it didn't make any difference.
Are there any GPOs which need to be configured in the domain for the thin client clients to see the 2008 TS server?
Any replies will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Sounds as if the problem could be with the server rather than the thin clients. Can you run a Remote Desktop off a Windows Workstation and connect to your 2008 server?
Yes we could connect to 2008 server from xp fat clients using terminal services.
I dont use RDP but is your 2008 TS server set to network level authentication? (a new handy feature of Vista/2008)![]()
Does sound like NLA - we had similar problem on different thin-client h/w.
Please keep us posted on HP's technical response....
The engineer came back today with an updated version of Linux- I think it's version 1.6 and the one installed previously was 1.5. Version is compatible with 2k8 server and t5735 managed to connect to terminal services on that server. I now have a problem in hiding the c drive and a few network drives.
Also the thin client terminals couldn't connect to ghost session running from an xp sp2 pc- I will test it from a server tomorrow and see how it goes.
Thank you all for your help.
