I have a per-computer only software restrictions policy which works fine on my desktops but doesn't seem to have any effect on my terminal servers. The terminal servers group has permission to read and apply the software restrictions policy. The terminal servers are in a TS OU, which has links to the software restrictions policy, among others. There are also some policies which are loopback (replace) linked for user environment config/settings.
I've used the modelling wizard in GPMC to check that the settings are correct, which they are. The software restrictions policy wins. There are no other GPOs above it in the processing order with any comuter software restriction policies defined.
I've also tried gpresult on the server, to confirm the software restriction policy is applied.
I've tried a forced gpupdate on the server with reboot, but this hasn't helped.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
