We currently don't have any terminal servers, due to a refit in the LRC we are considering dipping our toe in.
To start we would setup approx 14 thin clients in the LRC (poss some in other locations eventually budget allowing) and just purchase one server.
What hardware would be required server side (we might end up with 45 thin clients in the first run budget allowing, is this too many?). Most of our backbone is Gbit switched so we shouldn't have too much of a problem network wise.
Also what are the licensing requirements?
We currently run a 2003 R2 Active Directory network.
p.s i might not be asking the right questions here so if you think i'm heading in the wrong direction let me know.
Thanks.
