Yay !! Silly Question Time Number 2

Was looking at Veeam free edition to backup one of our ESXi hosts but noticed this just before I was going to start downloading it - Note: Free vSphere Hypervisor (free ESXi) is not supported. vSphere Essentials or higher license level required. Which is a bit of a bugger - anyone suggest anything similar for a ESXi host ?

I have no idea if it supports free ESXi but give Nakivo a look: Free Edition | Nakivo Backup & Replication | NAKIVO

On checking the data sheet it looks like it does - I'll give it a go.

I use the paid for version of Nakivo as a virtual appliance, it's really good. between a third or half the price of veeam.....not as many features but they're adding more and more with each version. I bought in to it hoping that the veeam style features would come eventually giving me a similar, reliable product for half the price

    Hi!
I have tried several versions of NAKIVO. So far, everything has been great! They have a trial on their main page.
