Is there anyone here in the S Wales, or S West who uses TS and would be happy for me to visit and see it in action?
Background............
We move to a new PFI
school in Sept 08 and are looking at long term ways of maximising IT use for least cost. Whilst the setup costs might be higher I'm hoping the MBTF of thin client will make it better value in the long term. (I'm not planning Thin client for all rooms just where suitable)
moan...... We have money set aside for the first year to cover network kit, VOIP (yep new school provided with NO phone system built in), software and hardware. It's the year on year costs after that are going to cripple as we have little money left after the yearly PFI contract maintenance costs are paid (by us not LEA)!
/moan over!
Thanks
Chris

I'm not where you want to go, but you can come here and have a look if you like.

Thanks, hopefully there's somewhere a bit nearer I can visit, if not I'll be in touch!
Boss has just been in telling me we need to get things planned in the next few weeks, I'd ideally like to test things out first before making a final decision!!

Take a look at NComputing as a low cost alternative to running Ms-TS ...
Depends what apps you want to run, but it should minimize PC capital cost and give you better performance. GeTech is UK distributor.
