    VMWare MAC ID

    Hello all,

    quick question, i have a base xp vmware image. I would like to clone/copy this and work on it, i would like to do this many times. Now copying/cloning is easy enough but i need the Mac address to be the same everytime. Is it possible to manual enter in what Mac address i want the copy/clone to have?

    In the guest, go into device manager and open the properties for the VMware network card. In the advanced tab you can set the MAC address.
