Create a Development environment for Sharepoint

    Hi all,

I would like to take an exact copy of my Sharepoint server and put it into some kind development environment for me to play around with and do some testing. I have an old server and SAN I can use or alternatively I have PCs with 12 Gb of Ram. What would be the best way to implement such a solution? Do i need to create a new sub-domain to keep them seperate or perhaps is a VLan the best option.

    Many thanks

    Paul

I'd recommend one of your workstations with uber ram. Just use the foundation install so you can play with it
