    National Lottery...

I search for national lottery in google.
I go to the site and click the link to sign-in.

    Webpage :
    https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/user/login.do

    I get the result:

The requested URL could not be retrieved

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While trying to retrieve the URL: http:443

    The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for http
    The dnsserver returned:

Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
    This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

Working for me. Perhaps a 443 error? As it is a HTTPS website.

And SWgFL are lovely, albeit we aren't involved in them as were independant, but whenever we have internet (line) issues, they always jump on BT's back and make them fix it.

You may need to add or check that the proxy is set correctly for the https on your proxy settings?

if you remove the 's' from https then it goes to the normal filter page here on the SEGFL. So it could be a proxy getting confused by the filtering or the secure server is having a fit.

I work in two SWGfL schools and can access the site in both - so I don't think it is an SWGfL issue

    Well,

We're getting this error randomly as well. It comes out of the blue but it you leave it a few seconds and refresh the page it loads fine. Have logged a case at RM (SWGfL supplier) but no joy as yet.
