Anyone going on Wednesday? Do we need to work out a secret wink and a nod to identify Edugeekers?
I'll be easy to identify. I'll be trying to pack away as many bacon sarnies as possible to ease me through the hard times (i.e. the next 3 hours)

To what? You don't actually get information out of segfl do you?
If only I could go to complain about how STUPID the email AV filtering is.
Mail server accepts mail. Scans the attachment. Finds it virus free. Attachment contains exe (for example a sims patch). Attachment is deleted. And the point of scanning it was?
Opps, sorry, forgot it was for the whole of SEGFL. It's an East Sussex meeting we have where county tell us all the stuff we are meant to know while we ignore them and eat the bacon butties on offer..... I mean listen intently awe struck by the new features of SIMS and the guest speaker.
Are these worth going to? I've worked here 5 years now and haven't been to one yet!

May well be worth seeing if KCN can do the same for Kent, the old Kent Networkers Group was quite good, for those that go back that far!
They are variable depending on what is on the agenda. Todays was good for the demo of RecordLink alone as we are looking at what it does and had no idea about any products. Perfect timing. Getting actual info and feedback from a person you can query on things like the VLE and Learngin Gateway is nice to. KEy county people are there so you can grill them or ask questions plus it is nice to be able to 'network' with others and see everyone is in the same boat or sound people out about how people do things you are unsure about or struggling with.
At least get the agenda for the next one and see if it is of any interest or book a place to see. Free bacon butties are a winnar on their own![]()
