It makes you appreciate the good things in life. Good chocolate, good whisky, the ability to code enough basic HTML so that you can stop using GeoCities!

If a site doesn't display perfectly in Lynx, then it is a very poor site indeed.

Maybe it should change with the time of day? Perfect for all the techies that have no natural light in thier office / cupboard? :-)

For fear of incurring the wrath of the Edu-Gods, I'll stick to a simple, I like dark borders & bars, but black text on white for body text.

I'm not really fussed, just as long as the text is still black. Been on some websites recently that have white text on a black background and it gave me a headache - strange though, as I get on fine with a standard CMD prompt.

I think overall, after years of thinking about this sort of thing anyway (it's my degree), even though conventional wisdom says a darker background is better as it glares less... I prefer dark elements on a light background. Particularly dark text on light.

What this site does need more of is spinning gifs. The one with the cloud turning into the skull, and a collection of "under construction" animations, and as many sparkly stars as possible.

I too find white text on a dark background hard to read... especially in the mobile version... what have you done to it @ZeroHour ?

Bizarrely I find it easier to read which was why the style was tweaked, I will have a rethink though and tweak it opposite as it were soon.

Maybe you could set it up to follow the weather - when its dark outside it could be light and when its light and sunny to be dark?

    Surely thats possible!
