    Here netsweeper via embc is set to block ads so they don't show up, perhaps other filtering solutions do the same?

    I do believe that is against the terms of use and good spirit, a bit like this site you don't block the ad's on here as you know it contributes to the running of the site etc, the same goes with Spiceworks.

    yup john is right. It does go against terms and conditions of spiceworks.
