We stagger our lunch breaks, we get exactly 36mins each, i personally nip off site everyday, only way to ensure an uninterrupted break
I go offsite for lunch and usually take nearly my full allocation (30 mins) - we stagger it so any urgent problems can be seen to by someone else, anything which specifically needs me is likely to be able to wait until I get back.
We work through lunch most days and get the usual interuptions, however we don't factor in a lunch break when calculating hours so people get off a bit earlier. Same as others really in that eating doesn't stop them asking questions.
I don't really know where we would go to escape the office though as we'd still get disturbed in the staff room.

I do have a pub just outside that I could go to i suppose.

We don't work during lunch and are encouraged to take a lunch hour, what we normally do is play call of duty 2 as we have set up at call of duty 2 server.
when i first joined the school i took tea break and lunch break but it just turned into a drop in session for teachers to ask me questions, for both school and home issues. im too polite to not speak with them and so got fed up. so now i do not go to staff room and just stay in my office which encourages them more! now its office door closed and ignore the knocks.
some days i do not mind the lack of breaks and i just crack on with things, other times i resent it and it bothers me.

lunch in the car for me = no interruptions (well not yet anyway, car's pointed toward the gate tho for quick getaway if necessary!)
but always back in my office after 30 mins ...
I sit at my desk reading EduGeek and eating. If an emergency crops up then normally I will deal with it then go back to lunch.
I tend not to have a break due to people just wanting me all the time! I do take periodic breaks throughout the day in order to make up for this though.
Today was a quick lunch, then 20mins playing cricket with our year 7/8's in the yard (along with a few other teachers & cover teachers).

I do have a lunch hour - because I am not employed during that time. I do not get paid. I also do not get paid to take breaks at any time. Everyone else goes to the staff room for a drink at break time but I'm still at my desk, or sorting something out in a classroom. I used to be paid for breaks but not any more, so I carry on working - until 12 - then I stop for an hour.
There is only me as technician so if something goes wrong from 12 'til 1, it has to wait until I'm back. The staff know that so only ask in an emergency. We have whole school assembly just after lunch so things can generally be sorted then, before actual lessons start.

We tend to start eating lunch at 12 and lessons finish at 12:40 so we can do that but the phone still rings, and the door still goes, but we do get disturbed during lunch so its never uninterupted. I tend to stay on-site over lunch to cover emergencys as with the many hats I have i need to be around often but my tech often goes into town and escaptes which I don't blaim him for at all,
Serious, I love the "you can come and collect my laptop at lunch, it will be in my room". I dont have my breaks when everyone else have theirs but when I do have a break, it always seems to get broken. Best thing to do is go offsite, never go to the staffroom.
There isn't a "Sometimes" option. Far and away most days take a lunch 3/4 hour, but there are a few occasions when it is necessary.
